Summer Berry Brioche Mini Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups stale bread, preferably brioche, but any stale bread will do
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- four ramekins, buttered
Instructions
Notes:
For a sweeter bread pudding, you can add another 1/4 cup of sugar.
Use unsalted butter for buttering the ramekins.
