HAPPY CINCO de MAYO!

What a journey this has been. Launching my website on a day made for celebrating feels right. Everyone loves Cinco de Mayo and Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines.

Fixating over duck tacos ever since I discovered them at an outdoor bar, Chilo’s Greenwood, in Brooklyn, I had to recreate the recipe. Marrying crispy duck, Asian spice, tangy blackberries, and hints of smoke from the Mezcal makes this meal a perfect combination. Everything is easy to make and with the knockout 50/50 Black Lemon Margarita from Lunatic Soup your Cinco de Mayo menu is set.

This is only the beginning!  Cooking is my therapy, so join me as we explore different flavors and techniques from around the globe.

Included are a few recipes that have quickly become favorites over the years. I know you will really enjoy them, so keep scrolling.

Check out the “About” page to find out why we chose the onion logo, and “Food News” where we highlight Summer food trends and salute Black chefs, past and present, who have built their own table, and the “Gallery” showcasing the latest photos from IG.

And, before you go sign up to receive the latest news and updates. Stay in the loop!
